Mount Vernon Nazarene University: Life Changing

Development

Welcome to the office of Development at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. As part of the University Development, our offices are responsible for communicating to our constituencies the vital needs, as well as, the success stories of the University. Our team provides fund raising assistance and proposal development to individuals, corporations, foundations, and churches.

The Development team, under the direction of the Vice President for University Relations works together to maintain relations with current donors, as well as develop new relations with constituents and friends.

Individuals with estate and financial planning needs (such as wills, charitable trusts, and annuities) may also contact the Development Office for assistance. Planned giving has helped many to provide income for themselves, preserve their life's work from taxes, and support MVNU's mission.

The Director of Alumni Relations & University Fund coordinates the University's annual gift programs including the CSA Phonathon, the University Fund Phonathon, and direct mail approaches. The director will involve many volunteers in these processes. Active in developing and cultivating new contacts with recent graduates, the Director of University Fund works closely with the Vice President for University Relations.

The Director of Development Services oversees the donor stewardship programs and gift receipts and records in support of the University's development programs.

The Assistant for Alumni Relations & University Fund, Coordinator for Matching Gifts and the Stewardship Programs Coordinator are the office liaisons with the field representatives and are eager and ready to answer all questions.

Our offices partner with the Alumni, Special Events, Marketing, and Communications offices. We welcome the opportunity to discuss with you any questions, comments, or suggestions you might have in support of the mission of MVNU. You may contact us by e-mail or by calling 1-800-367-9294.
