Mount Vernon Nazarene University seeks to motivate each student to make a contribution to Christian service through chapel and other worship services, missions abroad, through classroom attitudes, through residence hall devotional experiences, and through informal personal contacts.

Peterson announced as new MVNU chaplain

Rev. Scott Peterson is Mount Vernon Nazarene University's new chaplain.

His predecessor, Dr. Gary Sivewright, announced his departure in March after serving as vice president of Campus Ministries and chaplain since 1991.
