Meet our staff

Denise Smith, RN Coordinator of Student Health Services

Denise earned her BS in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University. She has nursing experience in university health, public school health and residential care in Ohio and Illinois. She joined our staff in 2000 to extend our hours of service to students during the evenings, and became the coordinator in 2005. Mary Lou Sinzinger Insurance Clerk and Receptionist

Mary Lou graduated from Wittenberg University and worked for Nationwide insurance before staying home with her children. She joined our staff in 2006 and is ready to assist students with insurance needs for illness, injury or athletic claims. You may reach her at campus extension 4632 or by email at msinzing@mvnu.edu

Residental Health Advisors

Residential Health Advisors are students specially selected and trained in First Aid and CPR. They work with our office to provide assistance to students when our office is closed over night and on the weekends. Our peer RHAs for 2008-09 are Christina Fry, Amanda Dickson, Jomayra Rodriguez, Ryan Stagg, Travis Burkholder and Allison Norman.
