Thorne Library/Learning Resource Center exists to bring together people, ideas, and information in order to complement the educational mission of the University, to enrich campus life and scholarship, and to preserve a collection of knowledge for future generations. The spirit of the library is to encourage study, cultural endeavors, and personal growth by providing resources and a place for intellectual inquiry, creative dialogue, research, and interdisciplinary pursuits.

The Library is part of the leading statewide consortium of academic libraries, OhioLINK. We offer access to 38.1 million library items including 100 subscription databases, 14,000 ebooks, and 4700 full-text, research ejournals. We provide remote access to these resources from computer labs, classrooms, dorm rooms, or home computers. Research assistance is available in person, by telephone, email, or chat. Helps and tutorials may be easily accessed through the library?s web site.

Library services are provided in a warm and welcoming atmosphere by a motivated, caring team committed to quality service.
