Eric Browning, MA, PCC, Director of Counseling and Wellness (ext 4611)
Eric is the new Director of the Counseling and Wellness Center at MVNU. Prior to coming to MVNU he has worked as an independent therapist that has included working with a foster care agency and a juvenile court. He was a Home-Based therapist with Moundbuilders Guidance Center for six years. His experience includes working with a variety of students and families, and is looking forward to the positive impact he will have on student?s lives. He is a graduate of MVNU, and has his Masters in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. He is currently working on a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Walden University.
CAROLYN SWALLOW
M.S., LPC Counselor (ext. 4613)
Carolyn earned her B.A. in Psychology from Mid-America Nazarene
University and her Masters degree in Counseling from the University
of Dayton. She has work experience in University counseling,
community mental health and in-patient psychiatric treatment.
While she has worked with a diverse group of people, her areas
of specialization include treatment of depression and trauma
related to physical and sexual abuse.
ELAINE BLAIR, M.A. Director of Career Services (ext. 4612)
Elaine has worked in student affairs/development for a decade helping students to reach their highest potential. She has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Affairs Management from Michigan State University. She also has earned a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from the College of Education at Michigan State University. Providing the marketplace with graduates who demonstrate excellence and integrity is vital. Career Services will propel students into their God-ordained destiny through excellent career preparation services. Job search techniques, resume preparation, and employability skills training will prepare graduates for graduate school and the workplace.
DEBBIE McLARNAN,

Debbie studied secretarial science and office administration
at Western Kentucky University. She joined our staff in the Counseling
and Career Center in 2001 after working in Admissions since 1998.
She very ably performs a variety of office functions, as well
as greeting all students, staff, faculty and employers visiting
our center.
