I welcome you to the School of Education and Professional Studies, and to each of the departments and programs that we support. I am excited about the leading roles that the School plays within the University, in our community, and throughout Ohio. And we are excited that you have chosen to investigate your opportunities here.
I have spent over three decades, prior to coming to MVNU, serving in various levels of public education. In all of those settings, the programs were limited to educating the head and the body for service to society. In contrast, and in keeping with the mission of MVNU, we here strive to educate the head, the body, and the heart so that we may graduate professionals who can serve to enlighten our world intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually in service for Jesus.
